The NRail Advisory Board
NTRAK in the 2000’s had a small board of directors. This was expanded to nine people to distribute the many tasks that Jim FitzGerald did for the organization and meet the need to be more inclusive, representing different geographies, clubs, standards and individual modelers. Despite this increase there were still aspects of N-Scale model railroading that needed representation, including commercial magazines, dealers, manufacturers and other organizations with an interest in N-Scale model railroading. For commercial interests, the challenge is to get input while avoiding conflict of interest.
So NTRAK has put together an advisory board. With the increased scope of the organization, the name was changed to NRail, but the board remained nine in number and the Advisory Board continued to grow. Advisors receive all communications that go to the Board of Directors (BOD) and are invited to participate in BOD meetings but have no vote.
Current membership is listed on the Contacts page. The membership is fluid. It is determined by the BOD and approval and removal may be made at any time without regard to term length.
Anyone interested in becoming an Advisor may start by volunteering to help with one or several tasks, ranging from helping with club communications to social media to providing technical support.
Further questions may be sent to any one of the officers and we always welcome volunteers helping with the many aspects of the NRail organization.
